Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us at Splash into Swimming. The policy below describes how we deal with personal information when you use Splash into Swimming. The privacy policy complies with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 – the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Under the Data Protection Act 2018, you can find out what information we store about you. These include the right to:

- have incorrect data updated
- have data erased

- data portability (allowing you to get and reuse your data for different services)
- object to how your data is processed in certain circumstances
You are required to provide personal information when making lesson bookings with Splash into Swimming. The information required includes, but is not limited to:
- The full name and date of birth of you or your child/children
- A contact telephone number and email address
- A postal address
- Information regarding any disabilities
- Emergency contact information
All personal information is held in confidence and can only be accessed by authorised representatives of Splash into Swimming and will be used only for the purpose of providing the services offered by Splash into Swimming.
Should you wish to remove your details or exercise any of your other rights under the UK Data Protection Act 2018, please email [email protected], and we will respond as quickly as possible and no later than one month (30 days) from the date of your request, as required by the above legislation.
Payments
Payments for lessons booked with Splash into Swimming should be made by bank transfer where possible. Cash payments are currently accepted while we are unable to take card payments, but once a card payment facility is in place, we may withdraw the option to pay with cash.
Cookies
This website and our booking system, Swymmr, may use cookies that allow us to identify you as a previous visitor. The use of cookies does not enable us to see any other information from your computer, and they do not pose any threat to security or privacy. Cookies are used routinely by many of the most reputable “household name” websites on the internet as an aid to providing good service.
A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer, enabling us to recognize regular visitors and customize our service accordingly. No personal information about the user is stored in or retrieved from the cookie file.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
