Lessons Available
We offer a variety of lessons including child groups, one-to-one and one-to-twos for adults and children, and, from September 2024, baby and toddler classes.
Child group lessons are for children aged four and above, taught in groups of up to 6 per class. Lessons are organised by ability, following the Swim England Learn to Swim program, so your child will always be taught within a group of a similar skill level.
As your child progresses through the levels, they will earn badges and certificates to celebrate their achievements. As they reach the end of their time with us, they will have the opportunity to progress into competitive swimming if this is an avenue they wish to explore.
One-to-one lessons can be booked for adults and children of any ability either individually or in blocks of six. One-to-two lessons are also available but must be for two children or adults of similar ability as the lesson is taught as one class. At present one-to-one and one-to-two lessons are fully booked (October, 2024).
Baby and toddler classes are taught in groups of up to five in a hydrotherapy pool which is kept at a warmer temperature between 34-36 degrees Celsius. Where possible, classes are grouped by ages roughly as 3 – 18 months, 18 – 36 months and 3 – 4 year-olds, but some classes may contain a mixture of ages depending on availability.
Prices
During group lessons, the entire pool is used. All equipment (floats, etc.) is provided by us, and we teach most levels from within the water.
An area of the pool may be sectioned off for one-to-one and one-to-two lessons, and there may occasionally be other pool users during these lessons.

Cancellation Policy
We ask that all clients give us a minimum of 24 hours notice should they have to cancel a lesson. Cancelling within 24 hours will incur a 50% fee to cover the cost of the pool hire.
If you make a block booking and need to cancel a lesson, that lesson will be carried over; however, should you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson, the 50% fee will still apply.
Group lessons are paid in term blocks, any lessons not attended cannot be refunded or carried over to subsequent terms.
